First Aid Course Level 1

This course covers all first aid essentials, and is the benchmark of first aid. It is also a company requirement for the Occupational Health and Safety act (OHSAct), FGASA, SwimSA & SCUBA diving.

This course covers – Adult and Child CPR & Choking, Emergency scene management & safety, Wounds, Bleeding, Burns, Shock, Vital signs, Unconsciousness, Fainting, Fractures, Bandaging, Splinting, Head & Spinal Injuries, Impaled objects, Head to toe, Vital signs, Electrocution, Patient history, Basic bites & stings, Poisonings.

What you receive – A South African Level 1 manual, a Department of labour accredited First Aid certificate that is Valid for 3 years.

First Aid Course Level 2

This intermediate course covers the essentials of first aid in more detail. The extra theoretical and practical training enables students to improve their care of an injured person. This is an upgrade from a Level 1 first aid course where a student has a valid Level 1 certificate.

This course covers – Two persons, an Adult & Child CPR, Infant CPR, Multiple injury management, Drowning, Asthma, Heart attacks & chest pain, Epilepsy, Strokes, Seizures, Temperature emergencies, Rescue carries, Snake bites, Problem solving scenarios, Chest Injuries and Cardio-Pulmonary system.

What you receive – A South African Level 2 manual, a Department of labour accredited First Aid certificate that is Valid for 3 years.

First Aid Course Level 3

This is an upgrade for a Level 2 first aid course
where a student has a valid Level 2 certificate. It is excellent for
people that are exposed to dangerous and hazardous environments or that
are more than a few hours from their nearest hospital. The course is
also recommended for anyone wishing to become a paramedic.

This course covers – Artificial respiration with an
AED (defibrillator), Diabetes, Heart Failure, Adult, Child & infant
vital signs, Environmental & Spinal injuries, Multiple casualty
management, GCS & Blood pressure measurement, Patient monitoring
& maintenance, Spine board & harness and Emergency child birth.

What you receive – A South African Level 3 manual, a Department of labour accredited First Aid certificate that is Valid for 3 years.
