The purpose
Information Technology (IT) professionals perform tasks ranging from installing software to designing networks and databases. Learning to manage data, networks, hardware and software requires administrative skills. The main aim of this course is to develop the knowledge, skills and capabilities for being an effective and efficient business woman or man. This course is suitable for office administrators, admin clerks, office managers, account assistants, secretaries, desktop supporters, cashiers, and account clerks. Another aim of the course is to accommodate students not meeting National Diploma Entry Requirements, to lay a credit bearing foundation for further studies within the faculty of business and to support students with inadequate computer literacy.
